LITHUANIAN ANIMATION
Although the roots of Lithuanian animation go deep, the industry’s rise is associated with the restoration of Lithuania’s independence and the emergence of the first animation studios.
After several decades, the industry is now well-developed. Recently, Lithuania’s animation industry has experienced remarkable growth, both in terms of projects under development and in production, as well as emerging talents. Animation studios implement both domestic projects and international co-productions, as well as working as service providers.
The film "Trails of Angels" is a work of virtual reality animation presenting the creative legacy of Mikalojus Konstantinas Čiurlionis, a trailblazer of interdisciplinary art and one of the pioneers of abstract art in Europe.
